Not only will you assure yourself a job for the rest of your life, but you’ll also be uplifting your spirit by dedicating your daily routine to helping people who cannot help themselves. The part of a nurse is a demanding job, but it’s hard not to feel good when you sacrifice for your fellow man. Did I mention the pay is excellent?
Most nurses start off as nursing assistants. There’s nothing particularly wrong with that – -it’s $10 per hour and all you need to get there is a couple weeks’ training. Then you shoot to get certified — some sort of CNA (certified nursing assistant) makes about 50% more than an uncertified one. More importantly, a CNA may get a job at a major medical facility like a hospital, nursing home, or with a medical center.
